Purpose of the Run:

The LIONS#SIGHT & STRIDE RUN 5K is dedicated to raising funds for critically ill children while promoting fitness and community unity. Your participation will help us make a difference by providing essential care and support to children in need through our healthcare centres in Mumbai. Every stride you take contributes to saving lives!

 

About the Event:

This 5K run is perfect for fitness enthusiasts looking for a challenge while supporting a noble cause. Unlike a traditional walk, this event offers a competitive edge for runners. Participants will be required to pay for timing race equipment and register on a separate site, as this is a timed event. Please note that Dry Fit T-shirts will not be provided, so runners are encouraged to bring their own.

1. When is the On-Ground event's race day?

The LIONS#Sight & Stride Run 5k shall be held on Sunday, 29th September, 2024

 

2. When do the On-Ground registrations begin and end

Registration Start - Wednesday, 11th September 2024, 7am IST

 

Registration End - Wednesday, 25th September 2024, 11.59pm IST or as soon as the running places are filled, which ever is earlier

 

3. What is the minimum age eligibility to apply 

16 years (born on or before 28.09.2004)

 

4. Is there any upper age limit for each race?

There is no upper age limit 

 

5. What is the application fee for participating in the event

Fee INR 299/- (Exclusive of GST@18% & convenience fee)

 

6.What does the registration fee cover?

The registration fee paid is exclusively for your race participation in the LIONS#SIGHT & STRIDE RUN 

 

5K. The registration fee is not, in part or full, payable for any offers/promotions/discounts/etc. That is offered, directly or indirectly by the Promoter/Event Sponsor/ Partner

8. What are the confirmation criteria to participate in the 5K

Anyone can participate with age 16 years and above

 

9. Timing Certificate required to participate

Timing Certificate is not required to participate

 

10. Is attaching a passport sized photograph with the online application form compulsory

Not required

 

11. Is attaching a Govt. issued photo ID proof with my application compulsory?

Yes. applicants need to attach their Govt. issued photo ID proof whilst submitting the application.

 

12. Which payment mode will be accepted for online registration?

An online applicant can pay only via credit card, net banking, debit card, UPI and payment wallets.

 

13. How will my entry acceptance be intimated to me

Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email

 

14. Will i be eligible for a refund in case i didn't pick up my confirmed bib or don't run the race

 

The entry fee is non refundable

 

15. Once I have applied can i cancel my application and get a refund?

 

Once applied no request for refund of application fee will be entertained under any circumstances

 

16. Will i get a timing certificate and finishers medal for participation in 5k

 

Yes, all finishers of the 5k race will get the finisher medal post their run on race day( Medals will not be posted to Individual runners). While provisional results will be available by 5 pm on race day, timing certificates of finishers will be available for download within 21 working days from the race day.

 

17. Can I register for a friend?

 

No. An applicant has to sign/agree to the waiver/consent himself/herself. you cannot register on your friends behalf.

 

18. Is a Goodie bag available to all participants of SIGHT & STRIDE RUN 5K?

 

No Goodie bag is available. Only Personalised BIB will be distributed

 

19. Can I transfer my bib to somebody else or somebody else can run on my bib?

 

No. It cannot be transferred to somebody else or somebody else can run on the registered  applicant BIB. In such cases the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified.

 

20. Can I register on the day of the event?

 

No, you cannot register.

 

21. Can I run with a dog?

 

No, animals are not permitted in our events

 

22. Can I run with a child in a pushchair/Sling?

 

No, children (under the age limit for the event) or unregistered participants are not allowed on the course

 

23. Will I get T-Shirt

 

Please note that Dry Fit T-shirts will not be provided, so runners are encouraged to bring their own.
